With a once a week, six week kayak training course run by Rosie Shakespeare.

 

 

 


This is a fun way of working on your fitness in a group session. Welcome the day with a great work out!

If you're interested in competing in the Brass Monkey Series or just wanting to improve your paddling, these are ideal, motivating sessions that will help give you a racing edge.

Details:

Sessions are 1 hour long and will consist of intervals, efforts and a lot of fun as well! Sessions are for anyone- we will regroup after our intervals and always finish up as a group, so no one will be left behind.

When & Where:

  • Tuesday mornings 
  • 23rd July until the 27th August inclusive
  • 6.45am - 7.45am

Meet at Arawa Canoe Club 6.30am for a 6.45am sharp start on the water

What to bring:

Your own kayak and paddle, spray deck, heart monitor (if you have one) a warm change of clothes, a towel, a head torch will be useful, a post exercise snack and lots of enthusiasm! (nb: lifejacket and floatation bags are your choice to make depending on how confident you are in your boat and how you would go if you had a lovely Avon swim!!).
