We are now running our popular CP cycle session on the road. This is a chance to develop your fitness as well as improving your confidence on the bike whilst riding with others. For those Triathletes and Multisporters out there bring your running shoes along for a quick run at the conclusion of your ride. Come along to have a good workout in a fun, social environment.

DETAILS:
When: Monday night – Pre ride briefing at 5.30pm, start at 5.45pm sharp (note this start time is new for 2010).
Sessions will cater for all abilities with easier and harder options as part of the class.
Duration 60 minutes long with an optional run at the end of the ride.
Where: All rides start from Pioneer Leisure Centre 75 Lyttleton Street in Southern Institute of Technology classroom (behind stadium) – look for the big orange signs. Click here for a map of where to meet.
We ride the no-exit roads along the cashmere hills between Princes Margret Hospital and Halswell Quarry doing intervals, time trials and various other sets. These classes are for all levels of cyclists- using no-exit roads means nobody is ever left behind.
Availability: Must book a day in advance to ensure place. If you can’t make it please get in touch with Richard or Kim 24 hours prior to the class to cancel your booking so someone else can make use of it. If not you will be charged for the class.

Cost:
- Your first session is free
- Casual class – NZ$10 – (per session)
- Concession card – NZ$70 (10 sessions)
What to bring:
Outdoors – Be sure to wear bright clothing on these rides, the higher vis, the better. As well as … your own bike (Road or MTB with slick tryes will make it easier), your helmet, water bottle and all your normal riding gear for the weather – gloves, shoes, cycle shorts etc and spare tube etc, running shoes (optional), heart rate monitor (if you have one), a post exercise snack and lots of enthusiasm!
Indoors - Your own bike (Road or MTB with a slick trye on the back wheel), towel, water bottle, cycle gear, wind trainer (available for hire $5), running shoes (optional), heart rate monitor (if you have one) a warm change of clothes, a post exercise snack and lots of enthusiasm!
