Malborough Marathon
This event promises that there will be no more than 200 metres of running through suburbia as you head out onto the Taylor River access system. Within just a few kilometres of the start you will be able to appreciate the stunning countryside and vineyards of New Zealand's wine growing capital. Blenheim does pretty well in the sunshine stakes too, sharing the national sunshine hours title with its near neighbours Nelson so can almost promise it will be a stunner of a day! See more

St James Alpine Challenge
Where triathlon meets multisport! This event offers a swim OR kayak leg on Lake Tenyson, followed by a picturesque mountain bike ride along the St James Cycle Way, and finishing with an off-road run up Ghost Galley and over Dillon Pass. A great warm-up event for those doing Coast to Coast or anyone wanting a challenge during the holiday period. See you there! More information

Forrest Graperide
The Forrest Grape Ride the long course traverses a 101km circuit through some of the most stunning scenery New Zealand has to offer. From the Forrest Estate Winery stone wall in the capital of the New Zealand wine industry, Renwick, it’s a flat route to Blenheim on to Picton, around the head of Queen Charlotte and Pelorus Sounds, and through Ngakuta and Momorangi Bays. Around Brunner Cycle Ride
Around Brunner is a 130km sealed circuit cycle ride which takes cyclists through some of the most stunning scenery the West Coast of New Zealand has to offer. This event is suitable for all abilities – from the first timer to the experiences, whether as an individual or in a two person team. For details click here.

Hamner Half Marathon & 10km Run
The Hanmer Springs Four Square Half Marathon and 10 km Run is held annually, in the picturesque village of Hanmer Springs, 130km NW of Christchurch. The race, which is organised by Hanmer Springs Multi Sport Club as a community fundraiser, takes competitors on a unique journey through Hanmer Forest amongst some amazing mountain scenery. Frost Buster
If you've always wanted to try multisport, Frost Buster 2011 could be for you. Held at the base of the Southern Alps in Mid Canterbury, it includes a Multisport and a Duathlon course. Frost Buster's Multisport Course is made up of an 8.5km run, 27km road cycle and a 15km river kayak and the Duathlon Course is made up of an 8.5km run, 25km road cycle and a 2km run. See more

Braziers Property Girls on Bikes
The ski crazy town of Methven in inland Canterbury geared itself to deal with over 800 women cyclists in 2012 and will again be ready for another invasion in 2012! While the short course of 37km has little in the way of ups and downs, it will present a challenge to novices with the Canterbury Nor’wester always ready to throw a little extra into the challenge. The longer course of 76km is more of a challenge and is an option for all well trained recreational riders as well as catering for A, B, C and D grade licensed club riders. Molesworth Muster
The Molesworth Muster is truly an adventure, from getting to the start line, to the camping overnight & the race out. You will experience everything that you have ever heard about the high country - dramatic craggy mountains, vast grassy flats & stunning crystal clear rivers. This is the land of New Zealand's largest working farm the Molesworth Station, 180,000 hectares of timeless untouched landscape. Details here.

Big Day at the Office
A five stage multisport, duathlon, and run event based around the Methven foothills. Events can be done by a single competitor, team, or corporate team of up to 4 making a big day out of the office a team building exercise for fit bike and running lovers. A provision for newcomers entering the team category allows an extra person, making it a 5-person team effort if desired. A must for C2C'ers! See more...

Brass Monkey Kayak Series
Five race series on the Lower Waimakariri. Ideal for those starting out in their racing career and for seasoned paddlers looking for some winter action. The course runs down a 12km braided section of the Waimakariri River from The Pylons to the State Highway 1 Bridge with the ever changing braids of the Lower Waimak making for interesting racing. Physiomed Women's and Shoe Clinic Blokes Triathlon & Duathlon Series
These events are a great way for you to experience triathlon or duathlon for the first time, or if it has been awhile since you have been active, to get going again. The series consists of three events, you can take part in all three or any one of them. Each event increases in distance to give you a challenge. For more information click here.

Lee's Valley Challenge
Lees Valley Challenge is an 80 km endurance ride through some remote spectacular areas of North Canterbury country. This is comparable to other endurance races like the Rainbow Rage and Molesworth Muster. The ride begins by climbing over the Okuku Pass, along Lees Valley Road, over Laddbrooks Hill then Bottle Hill and then a sweet down hill all the way to the Ashley Gorge finish line. See more
