Complete Performance Coaching - feel fit, feel ready, feel alive

Swim coach - Amy Naylor

I have been around swimming pools my entire life, and it seemed a natural progression to eventually swim and compete as a member of the AquaGym National Squad.
As an athlete I experienced stroke analysis in the flume in Dunedin and was privileged to work with Bill Boomer and Milton Nelms, Bio Mechanic Specialists and Consultants to the USA Olympic Swim Team.  This of course helped with my swimming, but also sparked a real interest in how we swim better, faster and with less injury. Managing to fit in training, competing and study, I graduated from University of Canterbury with a Business Degree in 2005.

After University I spent some time indulging my love of travel with trips to Europe and USA, before becoming involved in programming and coaching swimming at AquaGym.  I specialize in private swim technique sessions for both adults and children.

One of the most rewarding things in Swim Coaching is seeing the delight on someone’s face when they understand a new drill and feel the improvement in their swimming.  To see all the hard work finally pay off is fantastic for both swimmer and coach.

I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
