Make the choice to join Team CP - City 2 Surf and turn up to your event ready and confident that you will be able to achieve your goal.

Team CP is for everyone. From those who are just taking up running as part of a New Year's resolution, to those that have done the event before and want to improve their time or if you want to meet other like minded people of similar ability to train with. 

Our sessions will be structured so no matter what your ability, you can challenge yourself at your own level.  If you are just taking up running and need to walk every now and then or if you are looking at ways of running even faster you will be pushed at Team CP.  This is all possible due to our qualified experienced coaches and our group numbers of individuals with different experiences.

The Details
  • Duration - 8 weeks
  • Start Date – Thursday 2nd Feb - (Contact us for discount & start after this date)
  • Time - 6-7pm meet at 5.45pm

  • You will be guided through a detailed training programme that includes duration, intensity and specific details in each session.
  • You learn good running technique, what to eat and drink before, during and after your training runs, how to get the most out of your training, and much more

 So you want to do the City 2 Surf....

Which person best identifies you at the City 2 Surf...?

Person 1: You contemplate doing the event -  You are keen to do the event - want to sign up but feel that you need some help and team support. You get busy and don't make time to commit and achieve something for yourself. RESULT -  Disappointment!!!.

Person 2: You just turn up and do the event after a couple of training runs  - You are disorganised and forget to bring your correct socks.  The first 3 kms go well but the further 9kms are ugly... You redefine what it means to "suffer", your friend that walks the event beats you. RESULT -   the entire week following the event you walk like John Wayne!!!.

Person 3: You train by yourself  - You pick up a couple of frustrating injuries during your training due to poor running technique.  You miss three weeks of training as a result although you finish the event due to your grit and determination.  RESULT -   Frustration as you know you could have done better!!

Person 4: You sign up and train with Team CP  - You learn how to run properly and listen to your body so you do the correct amount of running for your ability, subsequently you remain injury free .  At the Wednesday session you meet 3 others that run at the same speed as you and you meet them on the weekend to go running together.  The team help motivate you and keep you accountable so you make time and complete almost all of your training sessions.  You learn about what to eat and drink before, during and after your training runs.  Subsequently you finish the City2 Surf feeling great. RESULT - you are stoked with your achievement and the best of all your work mates are jealous about how well you did!!
